About Me

Okay, I'm going to finally break down and add a short bio. I'm a native of the U. S. Texas Gulf Coast, the city of Houston to be precise. I studied chemical engineering at the University of Houston and because I also attended a magnet high school program I was able to graduate a little early. So much for the prosaic details of education.

I love mathematics and the first chance I get, I'm planning to collect a doctorate in the subject. When I'm working I build mathematical models (usually in Fortran) for chemical process simulation, as a consultant. Between consultations I work for a construction services company and I think of both jobs as being nothing more than playing with erector toys, and getting paid for it. It's a lot of fun as long as you remember that you are suppose to pretend that it's hard, and you get paid for it.

I had a serious childhood so I age retrograde (the older I get the more childishly I behave). I make up for my lost youth by indulging my sense of curiosity, and reasonable play. Unless you are into: astronomy, programming, or ferrets (I always maintain a least one as a pet) the rest is anime. I'm on page 120 of the "Post your sexy self" thread.
